Councilwoman Margaret Chin sponsors Confucius Institute at Pace University to teach two week intensive Chinese language and culture to our children in the summer program. A big thank you to everyone! On Groundhog Day, kindergarten and 1st grade students discussed the significance of the day and the prediction of Spring. Jennifer Louie, board member, and Minerva Chin, board chair, organize a book and toy sale at PS 20. 
A Place for Kids' Board Chair, Minerva Chin, was awarded the Local Heroes Award by Bank of America. Ms. Chin received this award as acknowledgment for her hard work and continued dedication to strengthening the Lower Manhattan and Chinatown community. Congratulations! |
