Former A Place for Kids' SYEP worker, chef Christopher Cheung with sous chef son, Jeremy demonstrate the art of ice cream making to our children. Stella's last day with A Place for Kids' staff, board members and volunteers.  Annual holiday party hosted by Asian American Youth Center (AAYC) and sponsored by McGraw-Hill Asian Professionals for Excellence (APEX) and Con Edison. Councilwoman Margaret Chin sponsors Confucius Institute at Pace University to teach two week intensive Chinese language and culture to our children in the summer program. A big thank you to everyone! On Groundhog Day, kindergarten and 1st grade students discussed the significance of the day and the prediction of Spring. Jennifer Louie, board member, and Minerva Chin, board chair, organize a book and toy sale at PS 20.
